Stud fee is a Dundeel
Queen Elizabeth Stakes hero It's A Dundeel is sure to be popular with breeders after Arrowfield announced his fee for the upcoming breeding season.
It's A Dundeel will stand his freshman season at a fee of $27,500 (inc GST).
The son of High Chaparral was retired on Monday after recording his sixth Group I success 48 hours earlier.
The Murray Baker-trained galloper claimed four of his Group I wins at three over the 2012/13 season when victorious in the Spring Champion Stakes, Randwick Guineas, Rosehill Guineas and Australian Derby.
He returned in his spring four-year-old season to become the only horse to beat star mare Atlantic Jewel when he lowered her colours in the Group I Underwood Stakes before recording his swansong Group I victory at Randwick last Saturday.
Arrowfield also announced the horse will be known as Dundeel during his stud career.
Meanwhile, Arrowfield's flagship stallion Redoute's Choice has had his fee reduced from $137,500 to his 2014 breeding season fee of $110,000 while Snitzel rises from $49,500 to $71,500.
The 2013 Dubai World Cup winner Animal Kingdom will cover mares at a fee of $33,000, down from $38,500, as will Not A Single Doubt.
Arrowfield's other stallions for 2014 are Charge Forward ($22,000), Smart Missile ($22,000), All American ($16,500) and Manhattan Rain ($16,500 – down from $27,500) with Starcraft's fee cut by 50 percent to $11,000.
